"We have had several students at the Eau Claire Academy Day School and have been very pleased with the success they have demonstrated while there. Staff are warm and caring and are adept at effectively shaping behavior. Yes, students learn academics – but perhaps more importantly – they learn and practice self-regulation, coping, and appropriate communication skills. These skills are invaluable as they extend well past the walls of the school building to positively impact our families and communities. As a district, we are very pleased with the experiences our students have had while there!"
"ECA has provided a structured environment for students whose needs indicate something different than what the typical school setting provides. Ongoing team meetings, regular updates, flexibility, and thinking outside of the box has supported students' success and helped students to build skills to access their education and make both behavioral and academic gains. This has allowed students to grow even when the going got rough!"
“The alternative school setting is not just about academics, it's a whole different experience for students who struggle in traditional school setups. The Eau Claire Academy has a more individualized approach, and the space allows students to thrive. Communication from staff is consistent and teachers are very involved with parents and public-school staff.”
“The Eau Claire Academy Day School was a perfect fit for one of our students. Not only did staff at the Day School impact the students social/emotional skills in a positive way, but they also provided a setting where our student made significant academic progress. Eau Claire Academy Day School staff were prompt and thorough in communication with the school district and assisted in a comprehensive transition back to the public-school setting.”
“Eau Claire Academy is a community partner dedicated to seeing their students through challenges by teaching them the skills necessary to reach their full potential.”
